During your first year as a CASP student, you will be asked to fulfill the following scholarship requirements delineated below. Additionally, you can download a PDF handout of the requirements on our website under CASP scholarship requirements. :
Attend CASP 101 Hybrid Dates (Click here to access CASP 101 website using UCSD Email):

Family and Loved One Day
Attend the CASP Academic Year Kickoff – As of the time we are sending out this email, the event is scheduled to be in-person during Week 1 of Fall quarter, but subject to change. There will be more information to come in September.
CASP Peer Leaders (CPLs) – CPLs are peer mentors you will be paired up with. You will be required to meet with them twice per quarter. More information will come from them directly, and you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire to match you with a peer mentor.
Once-A-Week Learning Communities (OLC) – All first year CASP students are required to register for a CASP OLC in Fall 2024, Winter 2025 and Spring 2025 quarters. You will receive more information to register. You can click here to learn more. Note that Summer Bridge students will be asked to register for a CASP OLC as well.
CASP Speaker Series – The speaker series takes place in Winter and Spring quarters. Dates and times will be sent during the Winter and Spring quarters.
Study Jams – are held the Friday of Week 10 of each quarter. Attendance is NOT required, but we highly encourage you to participate!
Don’t worry about memorizing these, you’ll get PLENTY of reminders from our office to make sure you’re on track!
